The EDAC Way promotes the values and supportive guiding behaviors that will ensure that we achieve a level of integrity that represents the standard to which others will be judged. Being the best means behaving with the highest of ethics as a foundation for whatever we do and it means that we are always striving to improve.
Operating within the framework of The EDAC Way, our Company’s Code of Ethics, EDAC promotes those behaviors that build trust, respect and integrity. When employees, contractors and partners observe or suspect something that contradicts The EDAC Way, we encourage them to speak up and report it. Those who speak up to protect our company will be protected in return.
EDAC’s policy of non-retaliation reinforces our commitment to a safe reporting environment that is free of fear, bullying and other negative consequences. EDAC has zero tolerance for retaliation and activities that impact good-faith reporting – and anyone engaging in retaliatory behavior is subject to disciplinary action, up to possible termination.
EDAC offers many communication channels for reporting actual or suspected violations of The EDAC Way. You are responsible for reporting violations of laws, rules, regulations or this Code to EDAC. EDAC’s VP of HR is responsible to keep a whistleblower's identity confidential unless the person agrees to be identified, identification is necessary to allow EDAC or law enforcement officials to investigate or respond effectively to the report, identification is required by law or the report is baseless and not made in good faith.
